Japanese food is known for its variety to be cooked and consumed. From the rice with soy sauce until the fish raw, better known as sushi; These foods have managed to captivate the palate in all parts of the world.

SEASONAL AND LOCAL FOOD

 

Japan has four stations and these are reflected in the food. It is evident in supermarkets, hotels and restaurants where the menus change frequently to reflect what is in season. The Japanese take care of the presentation of the dishes and make courses of steamed, boiled or grilled dishes, slices of raw fish, soup, rice, pickles, etc.

RICE:

 

Rice is a staple for the Japanese for more than 2000 years and is still the basis of many meals. What is more crop is rice. In addition to sushi dishes include donburi (boiled fish, meat or vegetables served with rice) and onigiri (rice wrapped in seaweed), kayu (a rice porridge), mochi (rice cakes) and chazuke (rice cooked with green tea served with salmon eggs)

 

FISH:

 

Fish is the main ingredient if we talk about food. It is eaten raw, vivid, grilled or fried, as the variety of fish that are cooked.Tsukiji fish market (sale of seafood and fish the world's largest wholesale) is a must-see for a breakfast, is the sushi fresh and best prepared in the world.

 

In addition to fish, Japan has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, lots of dishes of noodles (a dish served with ice included) and some of the best bakery outside France, Kobe with its wonderful variety of cafes is the place for gourmands. Kobe beef, is recognized around the world, is produced from cows, provides a delicious flavor that melts in your mouth, also is the authentic Kobe beef steak.
